The Enoch Pratt Free Library Main Branch

The Enoch Pratt Free Library is the Oldest Library in the United States of America.It was established in 1882 by Philanthropist Enoch Pratt (1808-1896).They have a very large selection of books.They have several Departments like:They Maryland Department,The Social Science and History Department,The Fine Arts Department,The Humanities Department,The Business Department,The Children's Department and The African-American Department.They have a computer room where you can use the computers for free.They have an auditorium called the Wheeler Auditorium.The auditorium is very nice.They used to show movies there when I was kid.Their hours are Mon-Wed (10 a.m.-7 p.m), Thursday-Saturday (10 a.m.-5 p.m.) and Sundays 1 p.m.-5.p.m) during the months of October to May.The library is a very nice place to visit if you are in the the city of Baltimore.I have been there several times in my life in the last 34 years.
